Google Gets 70% of U.S. Searches

Seventy percent of U.S. searches in June were done on Google Inc.'s search engine, according to Web measurement figures from market research company Hitwise Pty. Ltd. In the four weeks ending June 28, Google accounted for 69.17% of all U.S. searches, up from 63.92%, or 8%, from the same period a year ago, according to Hitwise.
